Introduction

The communication is dedicated to a discovery: the creation of the MEDICLEANTEC MICRO CLEANER as a product which favours a highly efficient thermal cleaning, working with dry micro-vapour, previously used only for industrial purposes. This solution ensures perfect hygienic cleanliness on all surfaces and in all rooms.

Priority information

Priority of the discovery 12 April 2024. – materials on this discovery are published in the  No 7 issue of the scientific journal “Les Scientifiques Français” and THE WORLD SCIENTISTS for 2024.

Description of the Discovery

The purpose of this communication is to familiarise the general scientific community with the principles that formed the basis of a breakthrough nanotechnological discovery – the innovative steam generator ‘MediCleanTec Micro Cleaner’.

The operating principle of the MediCleanTec Micro Cleaner is based on a heating process that minimises the amount of unevaporated moisture.

The discovery is based on a scientific fact: water boils (evaporates) at a temperature of 100°C at normal atmospheric pressure. Initially, this produces wet vapour, i.e. vapour with a very high water content. If the boiling process takes place in a closed system (steam boiler), higher temperatures and therefore drier vapour are achieved. The higher the temperature and pressure, the drier the vapour. If the water content is close to zero, it is called saturated or dry steam. The MediCleanTec Micro Cleaner produces dry steam at a pressure of 9 bar at temperatures above 180 °C.

The decisive advantages of micro dry steam are its minimal surface tension, its excellent ability to penetrate even dense soiling and the smallest surface structures, and its fast, streak-free drying. The high temperature of the micro-dry vapour also automatically ensures thermal disinfection.

The dry steam penetrates even dense materials perfectly and smooths even folded fabrics well. Due to the minimal size of the micro water droplets, the penetrating power of the steam is increased. With this steam it is good to iron the entire thickness of the fabric without creating the effect of excessive moistening of the top layer.

Created on the basis of discovery, the equipment creates a thick cloud of smoke, which envelops surfaces, penetrates into hard-to-reach places and has a prolonged action.

Perfectly penetrates even dense materials and smooths well fabric folded several times. Due to the minimal size of the water droplets, the penetrating power of the steam is increased. With this steam it is good to iron the entire thickness of the fabric without creating the effect of excessive moistening of the top layer.

As a rule, the volume of dry steam is larger, which increases the power of its delivery: pressure and steam impact.

Dry steam does not burn or discolour the fabric.

It does not leave marks, streaks or stains on the surface.

Another significant advantage: dry steam does not leave burns in close contact.

It is important that the volume of dry steam generated in the device is significantly larger than similar devices, which increases the power of its supply: both pressure and steam impact.

Dry steam does not burn or discolour fabric.

It does not leave marks, streaks and stains on the surface.

Most bacteria as well as viruses cannot survive at temperatures above 70°. Staphylococcus aureus, for example, is effectively destroyed at 80° in 2 seconds, E. coli already at 55°.

Dry vapour is usually understood as superheated vapour, i.e. vapour heated above the boiling point of the corresponding liquid at a given pressure. It is called ‘dry’ for the reason that condensation is impossible under such conditions, i.e. such a vapour is guaranteed to contain no liquid.

Wet-dry vapour is vapour purified from suspended particles.

Wet-dry steam is a powerful disinfectant and provides a sustainable alternative to the use of contaminating chemicals. Viruses and bacteria are sensitive to high temperatures and it only takes a few minutes to inactivate them at 70 degrees. It is a simple practice suitable for any type of environment and application

Wet-dry vapour has a higher temperature and lower density than saturated vapour at the same pressure. Superheated steam is used mainly in turbines, to increase their efficiency.
