Abstract: The Logos Centre is Azerbaijan’s leading psychological centre, with a network of branches in cities across Azerbaijan for the implementation of psychological and social programmes, as well as educational and advisory activities.

Since March 2014, the Logos Psychological and Speech Centre has been providing services to the people of Azerbaijan, caring for the psychological, educational and speech health of the population, and earning the trust and respect of people through its educational activities and charitable psychological assistance marathons.
The centre’s mission: To ensure the psychological health of the country’s population and expand the process of psychological education.
The centre’s goal: To provide psychological services in accordance with international standards, to extend educational activities to the most remote regions of Azerbaijan, to increase the number of branches in the regions, to turn the centre into the country’s leading educational centre for training personnel, and to open representative offices abroad.

The centre cooperates with the Association of Positive Psychotherapy, the International University of Fundamental Education, the V.M. Bekhterev (St. Petersburg), the Institute of Perinatal Psychology and Resource Psychotherapy (St. Petersburg), the International Academy of Family, the Academy for Advanced Training of Education Workers (Moscow), the editorial board of the National Psychological Journal of Lomonosov Moscow State University, and the editorial board of the School Psychologist newspaper (Moscow).
The Logos Psychological and Speech Therapy Centre has been providing psychological, educational and speech therapy services to the public since 2014. In Baku, the centre has branches in the districts of Ganjlik, Yeni Yasamal, Ahmedli, 28 May, Khirdalan, and in the regions — branches in Sumgait, Ganja, Barda, Lankaran and Kuba, where professional, highly qualified specialists engaged in corrective activities work.
Since its foundation, the centre has earned recognition among the population and is actively working in the field of psychological, speech therapy and pedagogical education. In cooperation with local and foreign educational institutions, the centre regularly organises large-scale conferences, events, training courses and internship programmes for university students.
The main goal of the centre is to ensure the psychological health of the country’s population and to expand the process of psychological education. Since its inception, the centre has been organising free trips to regions where the population needs psychological support, providing free consultations and training with the participation of a professional team of specialists.

Remaining faithful to the traditions of education, Logos does not forget about charity. All branches of the centre regularly conduct free diagnostic tests for children from low-income families. Free events are organised in the regions for anyone who needs psychological support, regardless of age. Hundreds of people have already benefited from free consultations in areas such as Shamkir, Kazakh, Tovuz, Akstafa, Sheki, Gabala, Khachmaz, Lankaran, Zardab, Barda, Agdam, Neftchala and others. Seminars and conferences on relevant psychological topics are also organised for school psychologists, health and education workers.
Currently (2025), the role of the Logos Psychological Centre in the social and psychological space of Baku and other cities is significant and multifaceted, as evidenced by the feedback from participants in educational and awareness programmes. Since its inception in 2014, LOGOS has held more than 300 events, about 100 training programmes, and provided counselling to about 2,000 citizens of Azerbaijan in various cities across the country. The centre’s mission is to provide qualified and timely support to citizens in difficult socio-economic conditions. It also aims to raise the status of the centre as an organisation that provides qualified professional psychological and corrective services.
The centre has a staff of about 50 people. They are highly qualified professionals who are constantly improving their skills. The centre is popular and respected among the population.
The scientific and methodological support provided by the Logos Centre is of a high modern standard. All specialists are constantly supervised by higher-ranking specialists with academic degrees (Elmira Mirzoeva, Taran Pashayeva). During its work, the centre’s team has repeatedly received high praise from the administrations of Baku and other cities.
We believe that the scientific and organisational work of the centre has reached a stable and effective level, and the centre itself can be considered a methodological centre for psychological services in Baku and Azerbaijan.
